Description
The JONES W DREAM WEAVER SNOWBOARD are available in our HOMIES stores in Chicoutimi, Alma and online.
The Dream Weaver is the new name for the Dream Catcher. It's a performance all-mountain board with a friendly flex.
It's the perfect board for every day, as it charges in powder or piste, yet it's flexible enough to be fun on any terrain. The Dream Weaver's directional shape, Directional Rocker profile and Traction Tech 2.0 edges provide driving stability in rough snow while the spooned nose and tail edges on the 3D Contour Base 1.0 reduce edge snagging and facilitate turns on narrow terrain. The Dream Weaver delivers high performance without skimping on materials as it's built with a super-fast and durable Sintered 8000 base, an eco-friendly plastic topsheet, and a specially contoured classic core between the legs for added pop.
3D Outline Base 1.0
Subtle yet effective 3D contour base with an even balance of 2mm spoon bevel in the nose and 2mm spoon bevel in the tail. The spoon bevel starts just past the tipping point.
Traction Technology 2.0
Like a serrated knife sharp in the snow, Traction Tech improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the length of your board.
Traction Tech is an essential feature for rocker boards. The rocker improves glide in mixed conditions, but the decreased edge contact makes it harder to lock in your turns and hold a solid edge. Traction Tech is crucial in compensating for drift from rocker edges. - Jeremy Jones
Progressive dimension line
At the ends of the sidecut, the radius gradually increases as the edge reaches the point of contact. The gradual increase in the sidecut radius towards the contact point allows for smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge enters and exits the snow with a less abrupt transition.
Blunt nose
How a board glides through powder, crust, corn, or any snow more than an inch deep is dictated by its front contact point and just beyond. The next time you're in soft snow, watch how much snow gets to the corner of your nose near the point of contact. The billowing snow behind the peak means you are crossing it, which obviously slows you down. By adding a blunt nose, you get the flotation benefits of a much longer nose without the rounded "snowplow" tip and added swing weight. - Jeremy Jones
Directional bending pattern
Staggered toe-to-tail flex pattern designed for directional freeride boards. The nose, midboard, and tail have slightly different stiffnesses to help lift the nose, sink the tail, and improve stability at speed.
V-core
Jones exclusive wood core profiling that provides a stable and playful board feel. The wood core is softer between the feet for easier turn initiation and stiffer at the nose and tail for a stable ride over rough terrain and landing air.
Directional toggle
A hybrid rocker/camber flex defined by more tip rocker then tail rocker and camber between the bindings. The rocker tip floats the nose of the board and improves maneuverability while the camber underfoot provides edge hold and response. A slightly angled tail maintains the power and stability of a traditional board, but helps keep the tail free of cornering and landing switch.
